Categories : Fairs and Trade Shows, published on : 8/4/14

The holiday season may be at an end, but fashion in Paris carries on regardless. The prospect of returning to work and school may not be a cheerful one for many of us but this time of year still has its compensations. For example, we at Les Plumes Hotel would like to draw your attention to some key fashion trade shows that will be occurring simultaneously at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition centre from September 16th to 18th.

Premiere Vision Pluriel; A Trade Show Bonanza

Under the umbrella of Premiere Vision Pluriel, you can visit six complementary trade shows relating to the world of fashion in one location. Premiere Vision is the world’s leading fabric show, spotlighting 740 manufacturers from 30 countries. The international show of yarns and fibres, Expofil, has a solidly green agenda and places the spotlight on weaving, circular knits and jacquards. Indigo Paris focusses on textile design and creation and offers 220 international studios, 100,000 designs and a New Technologies area.

Leathers and furs, encompassing the fields of fashions, footwear, furnishings and car interiors are dealt with at Cuir a ParisModAmont deals with functional and decorative extras such as badges, buckles, zips, lace, embroidery, cords, braids, labels and packaging. Finally, the fashion industry in Occidental and Eastern Europe, North African countries, Madagascar and Mauritius is the speciality of Zoom.

Remember, all this action and excitement will reach a grand climax less than a week later when, from September 23rd to October 1st our city proudly presents the world renowned Paris Fashion Week. It’s a fashion forward autumn in Paris and you can be there.
