The Grevin Museum celebrates Valentine's Day

Published on 25 May 2018 in Exhibitions & Museums

2018 has just begun and, already, lots of exciting major projects have been announced. Among them, one that's the ideal choice for Valentine's Day. Head for the Grévin Museum for a unique evening event that is especially suited to the occasion.

What words of love

Your evening at the Grévin Museum begins in the theatre. On stage – passion, drama and words of love.  The words of Victor Hugo and Juliette Drouet, to be precise, a couple whose words on love and romance are legendary. The affair between the writer and the actress was punctuated with laughter, hugs and tears and they exchanged nearly 24,000 letters filled with passionate words of love.

Brad, Angelina and Omar

When the curtain falls, the behind the scenes tour of the museum can begin. You'll spend time in candlelit rooms where marble, golden moulding and checkerboard floors offer the perfect backdrop for your meeting with famous – and romantic – personalities. The Hall of Columns, with its delicious Baroque decoration awaits and you'll be invited to make yourself comfortable for cocktails and dinner. You'll be in great company - Brad Pitt, Georges Clooney, Angelina Jolie, Omar Sy and Laetitia Casta are waiting to meet you!

Just the two of you

As the candles flicker softly and the appetising salmon toasts compete with delicate puff pastries for your attention, you'll find your gaze sliding to the enigmatic smile that you know so well.  As you grip your champagne glass or savour the sparkling bubbles, you're aware that only one truly counts for you. The one that you're celebrating this wonderful Valentine's Day with, whose fingers you feel close to your as you raise your glasses together in a toast to eternal love.
